Tools & Methods
One entity on Adagio. One on Sage 50. One on QuickBooks Online. The PE sponsor's numbers didn't reconcile to their Big 4 diligence figures. There was no consolidated P&L, no balance sheet, no cash flow visibility — and the platform was actively adding entities.
Connected all three systems via ODBC and API extraction. Built a live-refreshing consolidated financial package in Excel on SharePoint with entity-level and group views, EBITDA toggle, FX handling, and a full written reconciliation to the PE sponsor's Quality of Earnings figures.
First consolidated view of the platform across three entities and two countries · Three stakeholders — operator, PE associate, incoming CFO — aligned on one set of numbers · Big 4 QoE reconciliation completed: every historical difference documented and resolved
